About Me

I'm Meghna, owner of JAAMs Cakery! I enjoy cooking and baking. I like trying new recipes. Baking is my happy place. I truly find joy in fulfilling my customer's requests and create something magical for their special moments.

My Story

Growing up, my sister and I spent countless hours in our kitchen, baking and experimenting with new flavors. My mother's love of food was infectious, and it instilled in us a deep appreciation for the culinary arts. When she passed away, I found myself drawn to the kitchen as a way to connect with her memory. It was there, surrounded by familiar ingredients and the comforting aroma of baking, that I discovered a newfound purpose.

With the unwavering support of my husband, I decided to start my own food blog. 'My 192 Recipes' is more than just a collection of recipes; it's a tribute to my mother, a way for me to share her legacy with the world.

When I moved to the US, I left my job as a Software Engineer and joined my husband here. I was often left with nothing to do in my spare time and then I started my Youtube channel upon following my husband's idea. I also baked for my friends and families. Baking was therapeutic to me. It is my happy place.

I felt a strong desire to continue my culinary education. So, I decided to pursue formal training at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. There, I immersed myself in the world of professional pastry making, learning advanced techniques, mastering knife skills, and gaining a deeper understanding of food science. The experience was transformative, equipping me with the confidence and expertise needed to experiment with flavors, create my own recipes, and share my passion with the world.

Over the years, my husband and I have been blessed with two beautiful children, who have brought immense joy to our lives. They have filled our lives with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Now, with a renewed sense of purpose, I'm ready to take the next step and turn my baking hobby into a business. I'm excited to share my creations with the world and bring a touch of joy and magic to people's lives.
